GHANBARI & ASSOCIATES

The Immigration Resettlement and Advisory Network is one of Adelaide longest-established migration agencies and has established a fine reputation for honesty, professionalism and successful services to clients in both Australia and overseas.

Established by the Senior Migration Agent, Mr Kamran Ghanbari, in March 2008, the Agency has now handled literally thousands of cases over the last decade, gaining extremely valuable experience in a range of migration-related fields.

Kamran, as is required by Australian law, is a highly-qualified university graduate who brings his expertise in migration law and international law and politics, as well as his personal experiences of migrating to Australia, to give him valuable insights into the needs and concerns of people seeking to come to Australia. As a properly qualified and registered migration agent, Kamran is proficient in identifying the specific requirements of each class and subclass of visa on a case by case basis. The Agency’s business advisor and strategic planner, Ray Swift, is likewise a very highly-qualified university graduate whose focus is on case analysis and representation.

Refugee & Humanitarian Visas

Sub-class 866 Protection (Onshore Protection Visa) Protection visas such as the 866 visa are designed to give shelter in Australia to people who have been facing significant persecution and harm for their race, religion, imputed political opinion, nationalities and belonging to special social group and the harm must be well established and be real. in their home country, and have fled because of such situations. The 866 visas have a number of requirements, the most important of which is that an applicant must fall into one of the five categories giving rise to a fear of the persecution they would suffer if they returned to their home country. These categories are race, religion, political opinion, nationality or belonging to a particular social group. Alternatively, in some cases people may be accepted as refugees because of Australia’s commitment to not returning people to the home country because of other risks that will face them if they go back.
